Descend the stairs then follow the road for 5 meters and take a left to the alley that goes uphill on your right. Follow this alley to the intersection with the cantonal road. From there, head along the road towards the poplars. From these, follow the access path leading to the spring. This spring was the only potable water source formerly used by the inhabitants of Niouc for themselves and their livestock. Climb back up via the south side path and continue the return path where you arrived.
Note: In winter, the spring paths, which are very narrow, may be inaccessible depending on snow conditions. In summer, in case of rain, they may be very slippery. There are precipices below the spring area.
