Go down the flight of steps and walk along the road for 5 metres, then turn left as far as the small sloping street to your right. Follow this small street until it meets the cantonal road. From there, walk along the road towards the poplar trees. Once you reach the trees, follow the access path leading to the spring. This spring used to be the only source of drinking water for the inhabitants of Niouc and their animals. Return via the path on the south side and continue back the way you came.
In winter, the (very narrow) paths to the spring may be inaccessible, depending on snow conditions. In summer, they can be very slippery after
rain. There are some steep drops below the area around the spring.
