Useful information

From the parking lot, return upstream on the road that passes in front of the Auberge Alpina. Take the Tracuit road (REKA) whose start is located on the right just after the Auberge Alpina and follow it to the start of the path to the Tracuit Hut. After the alpine pasture, upstream of the waterfall, stay on the right path crossing the stream. Pass behind the Roc de la Vache (viewpoint on Zinal and the valley bottom), then descend to Arpitettaz Lake. From there, follow the descending path, cross two bridges, and on the right, join the path leading to the Plats de la Lée and Zinal.
Variant 1
Do the loop in the reverse direction. Cross the Plats de la Lée and take the path leading to Arpitettaz Lake (4h30 - medium).
Variant 2
Warning: The shortcut Pas du Chasseur, located at the bottom of the Plats de la Lée upstream of the right bank of the Navisence, is not recommended for people prone to vertigo, those accompanied by children, or those walking with a dog. The Pas du Chasseur is a small cliff equipped with chains that requires the necessary skills (1h20 - difficult).
