Grimentz - Mottec No. 4

Follow the paved road that descends to the left between the buildings. From the Trontsec Chapel, take the path to the river (the small wooden bridge is closed). Head back up to the county road and follow it toward Zinal for about 100 meters. Take the small path that branches off to the right into the forest and continues to Mottec.
Alternative Route 1
Halfway between Grimentz and Mottec, you can reach Ayer via the trail that descends to the Navizence River (Grimentz–Ayer: 1 hour 30 minutes).
Alternative Route 2
From Mottec, continue on to Zinal along the left bank of the Navizence (30 minutes).
Alternative 3
Return to Grimentz via the forest road that passes through Tsirouc (1 hour 30 minutes).
