The Bisse des Sarrasins is a sporty 4-hour route that leads through a forest and along a suspended path, following the supposed course of an old bisse. It is called a bisse only by name as there is not really any water but plenty of forest and rock.
OUR ADVICE
There are dizzying passages but well secured.

| Useful information | Descend towards Fang d’en Bas then cross the Navizence, the main torrent of Anniviers, and climb up the left bank to join the Bisse des Sarrasins. It can no longer be filled with water currently but the route is really spectacular. It offers great sensations throughout. Be very careful with children, even though the bisse is well secured! Vercorin awaits you after a somewhat steep climb. |
