The Bisse des Sarrasins is a sporty 4-hour route, leading through a forest and along a suspended path, following the supposed route of an old bisse. The name is the only thing bisse-related since there is not really any water but a lot of forest and rock.
OUR ADVICE
There are dizzying passages but well secured.

Useful information | Descend towards Fang d’en Bas then cross the Navizence, the main torrent of Anniviers, and ascend on the left bank to join the Bisse des Sarrasins. It can no longer be filled with water currently but its route is truly spectacular. It offers great sensations throughout. Be very attentive with children, even though the bisse is well secured! Vercorin tempts you with a slightly challenging climb. |
