The Bisse des Sarrasins is a 4-hour challenging hike that leads through a forest and along a suspended trail, following the presumed route of an ancient bisse. It’s a bisse in name only, since there isn’t really any water—just lots of forest and rock.
OUR ADVICE
There are some dizzying sections, but they're well secured.

| Useful information | Head down toward Fang d’en Bas, then cross the Navizence—Anniviers’ main torrent—and climb back up along the left bank to reach the Bisse des Sarrasins. It can no longer be filled with water, but its route is truly spectacular. It’s dotted with wonderful experiences. Be very careful with children, even though the bisse is well secured! Vercorin is a bit of a challenge to reach due to a somewhat steep climb. |
