The Moiry Hut is known for its incredible view of the Moiry Glacier, which lies right next to it.
Visible from the trailhead, the Moiry Hut is a challenge to reach, with some beautiful rocky sections and a switchback climb at the end of the trail.

During busy periods, we recommend that you park at the glacier parking lot and start your hike from there.

| Useful information | From the dam, take the “Tour du Lac” trail along the left shore. Once you reach the end of the lake, continue to the Moiry Glacier parking lot, then follow the wide trail that branches off to the left (east side). This path narrows into a small trail that runs close to the rocky cliffs of the Aiguilles de la Lé. Continue climbing over rocky terrain until you reach the moraine ridge of the Moiry Glacier. A little further on, proceed with caution when crossing the hillside passage, which is often covered with snowfields. Continue along the trail as it winds upward, then cross the scree field for about 100 meters before reaching the hut. |
