Grimentz/Moiry Dam - Upper lake route via Chemin 2500 No. 13

Useful information

Cross the dam crest and take the small road ascending towards the Torrent alpine pasture. Follow the Chemin 2500 trail markers. Shortly after, the magnificent Lac du Louché appears. The walk continues with short sections, sometimes uphill, sometimes downhill on a pleasant path. From the bucolic small lake of Bayenna, the trail descends to the Glacier de Moiry parking lot. Ascend the right bank up to an altitude of 2500 m. The trail crosses pastures and crosses several torrent gullies. The loop ends with the descent to the Moiry restaurant.
From late June to early September: possibility to stop halfway and take the bus from the Glacier de Moiry parking lot back to the dam
