Useful information

Cross the dam crest and take the small road that climbs toward the Torrent alpine pasture. Follow the signs for Trail 2500. Shortly after the fork in the trail, the magnificent Lac du Louché comes into view. The hike continues along a pleasant trail with short sections that alternate between ascents and descents. From the idyllic little Bayenna Lake, the trail descends toward the Moiry Glacier parking lot. Hike up the right bank to an elevation of 2,500 m. The trail crosses pastures and several mountain stream ravines. The loop ends with a descent to the Moiry restaurant.
From late June to early September: you can stop halfway and take the bus from the Moiry Glacier parking lot to return to the dam.
