OUR ADVICE
This trail is not recommended at the beginning of the season, when there is still snow in the gullies, or in the fall, due to black ice on the ledges.

Useful information

From the restaurant, head toward the Moiry Dam by following a very old ski trail along the mountainside, at the upper edge of the forest. The trail then winds along the base of the Sex Marenda rock faces. Cross a scree slope for about 200 meters. Further on, the trail descends toward the cantonal road. Just above the road, the trail continues toward the dam.
Caution
The Sotier trail is not recommended at the start of the season when snow is still present in the gullies, nor in the fall, due to the risk of freezing in the gullies.
Alternative Route 1
From the intersection with the cantonal road, you can head toward Grimentz.
