Grimentz/Bendolla - Barrage de Moiry par le chemin de Sotier n°14

From the restaurant, head towards the Moiry dam, following a very old skiing piste on the mountainside, at the upper edge of the woods. The path then winds along at the foot of the rocky walls of Le Sex de Marinda and crosses an area of scree about 200 metres wide. Further on, the path goes down towards the cantonal road and then runs just above it towards the dam.
Note
The Chemin de Sotier should be avoided at the beginning of the summer, when there is still snow in the couloirs, and in the autumn because of the risk of ice in areas that receive little sun.

Walk to Grimentz from the point where the path crosses the cantonal road (45 minutes).
