| Useful information | Follow the Chandolin road for about 300 metres then turn left onto a small path, which winds past some chalets and also an appealing bench, from which there is a fine view over the valley. A little further on, the path enters a mixed forest of deciduous trees and larches, whose autumn colours are wonderful, and soon reaches the mid-alpine pastures at La Barma. Continuing along in the forest, you finally reach a small rugged ridge from which you can see Chandolin, Fang, the Niouc suspension bridge, Sierre and Crans-Montana. |
