This idyllic trail, which winds its way along the Bisse de St-Jean, is dotted with clearings and forests. The view upon reaching the Mayoux Waterfall is simply magical.

You can take a short break at the Prarion picnic area. This hike can also be done with the starting and ending points reversed.

| Useful information | Start at the bus stop by the post office. Walk down the local road past the beehives. At the end, take the path that first goes downhill, then back up to the cantonal road. Walk along the cantonal road on the left for about 100 meters, then take the small path that descends toward St-Jean. Continue straight ahead, following the bisse trail markers. You can return by shuttle bus from St-Jean or Mayoux. |
