Follow the paved road that descends to the left between the buildings. From the Trontsec Chapel, take the path to the river (the small wooden bridge is closed). Head back up to the cantonal road and follow it toward Zinal. 200 meters further on, a marked trail branches off to the left and descends along the La Gougra River. Cross the concrete bridge and take the Grand Bisse trail toward St-Jean. At Les Fios, the trail narrows. About 2 km further on, cross the cantonal road, then follow the scenic trail through the forest to St-Jean d’En-Haut (passing in front of the Gîte de St-Jean). The trail then winds its way to the Puchottaz de Mayoux Waterfall. |
