Grimentz - Mayoux via the Grand Bisse No. 2

Follow the paved road that descends to the left between the buildings. From the Trontsec Chapel, take the path to the river (the small wooden bridge is closed). Climb up to the cantonal road and follow this road towards Zinal. 200m further, a marked path leaves to the left and goes down along the La Gougra river. Cross the concrete bridge and take the Grand Bisse path towards St-Jean. At Fios, the path becomes narrower. About 2 km farther, cross the cantonal road then resume the lovely path through the forest to St-Jean d’En-Haut (passing in front of the St-Jean Hostel). The path then winds up to the Cascade de la Puchottaz of Mayoux.
