Grimentz - Mayoux via the Grand Bisse n°2

Follow the paved road that goes down to the left between the buildings. From the Chapelle du Trontsec, take the path to the river (the small wooden bridge is closed). Climb back up to the cantonal road and follow this road towards Zinal. 200m further on, a marked path leaves to the left and descends along the La Gougra river. Cross the concrete bridge and take the Grand Bisse path towards St-Jean. At Fios, the path becomes narrower. About 2km further, cross the cantonal road then resume the lovely trail in the forest to St-Jean d’En-Haut (passing in front of the St-Jean Guesthouse). The path then winds up to the Cascade de la Puchottaz de Mayoux.
