Zinal - Hôtel Weisshorn n°8

From Les Erables (community swimming pool), follow the small road that goes up to the left to the start of the path. The fairly steep trail crosses a larch forest up to the Lirec alp. From the Barneuza alp, the path continues with a slight climb to the Nava alp and the Hôtel Weisshorn.
Variant 1
Take the bus to Saint-Luc, then the funicular to Tignousa. From there, follow the Chemin des Planètes which leads to the Hôtel Weisshorn in 1h30. Take the path leading to Zinal. This route allows you to hike facing the peaks that dominate the valley floor. From the Lirec alp, the descent to Zinal is very steep (about 4 hours average).
