4. St-Luc: Hiking Park / Pluton

Here is a route tailor-made for the experienced hiker: nearly 1400 m of positive elevation gain spread over about ten kilometers for this loop, the most demanding in the hiking park. Sometimes steep, sometimes gently sloping, the path has its share of surprises: the lakes (Combavert, Armina, Bella Tola) and the Meiden Pass which can be guessed nearby. And finally, the highlight: arrival at the summit of Bella Tola with an unobstructed view at over 3000 m altitude.

OUR ADVICE
A good physical level and good technical knowledge are required to set off on this route.

Useful information

The start of the hike is located on the Prilet slope. The first part of the hike runs along the Roua torrent (caution: a small technical carrying section). This enduring climb then leads to the Chalet Blanc du Toûno. From there, it is a slightly gentler ascent that takes over, heading towards the Meidpass. Always follow the markings to the summit of Bella Tola. Pass through the "Col du Pas de Bœuf" before reaching the summit of Bella Tola. The very last ascent is done without skis, through the rocks, all secured by ropes.
This hike, although requiring a certain physical condition, is definitely worth the detour, with its wild landscapes crossed throughout the route. Caution: fair play is recommended for this route where skiers and hikers occasionally share the path. It will lead you to the Summit of Bella Tola.
