Photography Exhibition “Reflets”

Photography exhibition by Jean Piguet at the Épicerie de Chandolin

Born in Nyon (Vaud), Jean Piguet has been an adopted resident of Chandolin for several years. He was first violin soloist with the Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne and later with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, until his retirement in 2011. He has toured extensively throughout Europe, the United States and Japan with the OSR and as a chamber musician, and has performed as a soloist under the direction of conductors including W. Sawallisch, R. Chailly, Horst Stein and Armin Jordan. He is also co-founder and organiser of the “Concerts de Chandolin” and a member of the “Chœur de l’Étoile” in Chandolin.

Jean took these photographs during his long walks throughout the Val d’Anniviers, most of them with his iPhone. His only aim was to capture the beauty that can be found everywhere, whether in the vast landscapes or in the hidden details.
