The World of Bees

The activity begins with a short walk before we reach the beehives. Once there, you can watch the bees buzzing back and forth, learn about their fascinating social structure, and sample the sweet treats produced by the hive. You’ll also learn about different types of beehives and beekeeping methods.

To avoid disturbing the bees, please refrain from wearing perfume, hairspray, or other strong scents. We also recommend wearing long-sleeved shirts and pants. Face masks will be provided for participants.
Throughout the tour, Michel will introduce you to the world of beekeeping: queens, worker bees, honeycomb, frames, honey, honeydew, and many other concepts will no longer hold any secrets for you.
An allergy waiver must be signed before the activity begins.
