Epicurialpes: Musical performance by Suisse Chérie

"Suisse Chérie" is a collective of passionate singers and musicians, led by Pauline and Natacha, united in their goal to modernize and refresh traditional Swiss songs, making them accessible and enjoyable for today’s generations.

They celebrate Switzerland by having fun with its traditions and folklore, adding humor and a modern touch. Based in Geneva, the group draws inspiration from songs of the Romandy region – from Vaud to Fribourg, and through Valais (and yes, Geneva too!) – while also exploring the musical treasures of the German- and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland. All of this sprinkled with yodeling – long live tradition!

After several opening acts for the Oesch’s Die Dritten family, with support from Mélanie Oesch, multiple “Kiosques à Musique” on RTS with Jean-Marc Richard, the Fête des Vignerons 2019, the Pregny Alp Festival, the Désalpes of Saint-Cergue and Charmey, and over 260 performances in six years, Suisse Chérie highlights Swiss folk music refreshed in their own style, offering a taste of today’s Switzerland – a Switzerland where everyone can find themselves.

They perform in a variety of settings, reaching a diverse audience: at traditional festivals (Fête des Vignerons 2019, Désalpes, national and cantonal celebrations, Pregny Alp Festival…), markets, senior meals, municipalities, schools, prisons, and at events celebrating Swiss terroir (new wine festivals, grape harvest festivals, double cream festivals, Vacherin Mont d’Or festivals…).
