Musical walk

THE VAL D'ANNIVIERS WITH PRIVATE CONCERTS
VALÉRIE BONNARD, MEZZO-SOPRANO AND PASCAL DESARZENS, CELLO

This hike will give you the opportunity to discover the charming village of Grimentz and its church, followed by the villages of Saint-Jean and Vissoie. We'll walk from one church to the next, and in each one you'll hear a classical music concert lasting around 20 minutes.

The guest artists for this musical trek will be cellist Pascal Desarzens, joined by mezzo-soprano Valérie Bonnard to perform a colorful program. Discover original works for cello and voice: Dmitri Shostakovich, Ralf Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, John Tavener, Henry Purcell and J. S. Bach.

During the hike, you'll be guided by two mountain guides: Valérie Bonnard and Jean Rémy Roulet, who know the Val d'Anniviers and its history inside out. They'll help you discover these wonderful villages, as well as the famous bisse de Saint-Jean.
