Conference on energy transition

"How can you, the owners or co-owners of second homes, contribute to helping our valley in this energy transition? That's what I'm delighted to present to you and, above all, to walk this magical but urgent path with you." This is the subject Stéphane Genoud, Professor at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis, will be tackling at this conference: "Energy transition and secondary residents, what can be done?"

This conference will address a vision of the energy transition in 5 pillars for an approach to the 3rd industrial revolution, according to Jeremy Rifkin:

- Pillar 1: The development of renewable energies, with zero marginal cost of electricity production
- Pillar 2: Buildings as solar energy collectors
- Pillar 3: Storage of solar energy
- Pillar 4: Managing the decentralisation of energy production
- Pillar 5: De-fossilised and connected transport
