Espace Weisshorn 2700 High-altitude restaurant

Called “Espace Weisshorn” in reference to the highest peak visible from the future dining room, this establishment reflects authentic savoir-faire in both culinary art and design.

Espace Weisshorn is more than just a restaurant; it's an olfactory and sensory experience in its own right, a dialogue between past, present and future. Nestled in the setting of the imperial crown, Espace Weisshorn mirrors the surrounding nature. We are ambassadors for the region and its strong characteristics, traditions and flavors, seasons and culture.

The new head chef, Davide Esercito, will let his creativity and attention to detail shine through in each of his dishes, highlighting local produce. A four-season cuisine that will continue to be showcased, in an "eco-responsible" approach where the menu will evolve according to seasonality. Short circuits, local producers and craftsmen will be promoted to highlight the region in which this sustainable and innovative project is based.

The Weisshorn space "aims to be as energy self-sufficient as possible", with exemplary insulation, energy recovery from the gondola and cold-storage motors, heat pumps and solar panels.

The result of a joint project between Consortage de Sorebois and Remontées Mécaniques de Grimentz-Zinal, Espace Weisshorn is a collective achievement that embodies expertise, passion and know-how.


A new gastronomic chapter at the Espace Weisshorn

The Espace Weisshorn welcomes a new management couple, Sophie Pittet and Christophe Tinguely, who bring their passion and experience to the restaurant business. Originally from Fribourg, but very attached to the heart of Anniviers, they successfully ran the Allières gîte in La Berra for six years. Their sense of welcome and attention to detail promise an unforgettable customer experience.
In the kitchen, talented chef Davide Esercito joins the team. His impressive track record, including starred establishments in Italy, Brussels, London, Ovronnaz and Geneva, and his current role as Executive Chef at the Chalet Royalp Hôtel & Spa in Villars-sur-Ollon, guarantee exceptional cuisine. His creativity and commitment to local and seasonal produce will be at the heart of his creations, offering a unique gastronomic experience at the Espace Weisshorn.


A panoramic terrace with 360° views
Continuing our commitment to an extraordinary experience, our panoramic terrace promises a unique sensory escape. Accessible directly from the Zinal-Sorebois-Espace Weisshorn cable car, the terrace offers an unrivalled view of the Imperial Crown. Accompanied by soothing lounge music and a selection of refined cocktails, it's the ideal place for a moment of conscious and memorable relaxation. This haven of peace at an altitude of 2,700 metres will be your new favourite destination in the heart of Val d'Anniviers.

Summer season
The rooftop is open every day, weather permitting, and is accessible as soon as the restaurant opens.
Service from 11am to 4pm, with extended hours on Saturdays, so you can enjoy the view at aperitif time.



Schuss-Bar
Located at the arrival point of the Grimentz-Sorebois cable car and the Zinal-Sorebois-Espace Weisshorn cable car, the new snack bar will replace the old Bar-à-pente and invite you to contemplate the Couronne Impériale and its 4,000-metre peaks.

Summer season
The Schuss Bar will be closed during the summer season. It will open exceptionally for private events organised in the Espace Weisshorn restaurant, offering a gastronomic experience at the summit of the estate.
