To ensure the safety of participants in the Ride the Alps Moiry event taking place on Saturday, June 27, the road between Vercorin and the Moiry dam will be closed to motorized traffic from 09:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Roads affected by the closure:
- Briey – Vercorin – Ziettes: closed from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Ziettes – Mayoux: closed from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Mayoux – entrance to Grimentz: closed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Exit from Grimentz – Moiry dam: closed from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Access to the Moiry Dam by car will be possible only until 11:00 a.m. at the latest. The descent will be permitted only from 3:00 p.m. onwards.
Access to the villages during the event:
- Pinsec: Access regulated by the event organization
- Mayoux: Access via Vissoie
- St-Jean: Access via Mission
- Traffic inside the village of Grimentz: allowed, with access from Ayer and Zinal
The PostBus service will operate according to its usual schedule.
