The Three Bisses Circuit

A 5-hour hike, the “Three Bisses Circuit” is an opportunity to explore the bisses, the irrigation channels that are an amazing witness to the region’s past, while satisfying your sense of adventure. Only accessible with a guide!

The “Three Bisses Circuit” is considered a unique excursion, combining adventure, history and thrills. The circuit links Vercorin with Chalais, following these bisses:

  • The Bisse de Brie
  • The Bisse de Ricard
  • The Bisse des Sarrasins

The upstream section of the Bisses des Sarrasins (Vercorin - Pinsec) is open to the public and can be walked freely. The other section forms an integral part of the “Three Bisses Circuit” and has been arranged in its entirety by the guide Stéphane Albasini. A gateway marks the boundary – from this point you should only venture onto the trail if accompanied by a guide.

The excursion is characterised by some above-ground sections and natural obstacles. The crossing of the Niouc bridge, the zip-line section (optional) and the 180 m abseil descent make the “Three Bisses Circuit” a hike that is truly unique.
