Tsigère des Planètes
Located in Tignousa at the start of the Chemin des Planètes, La Tsigère offers an exhibition on the conquest of space as well as films projected on a 360° dome. It is the obligatory stop for the whole family before starting the Planets Trail!
The Tsigère des Planètes is located in Tignousa at the start of the Chemin des Planètes, at the height of the Sun. Divided into two parts, it first offers a free access exhibition retracing the conquest of space with numerous models. The second part houses a digital planetarium with 3 360° films.
360° film Voyager - a never ending journey
Duration 30 minutes, FR-EN-DE, from 6 years
The film tells the thrilling story of the most remarkable space mission in human history. In 1977, two space probes were launched to explore the most distant planets of the solar system: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune with their moons. These spacecraft have greatly enriched our knowledge of distant worlds. Now, after four decades, they are exploring interstellar space. Like two bottles launched into the cosmic ocean, the two probes carry an interstellar message - the Golden Record, destined for all extraterrestrial civilization.
360° film Lucia: the secret of shooting stars
Duration 30 minutes, FR-EN-DE, from 6 years
Vladimir, a polar bear and James, a penguin, travel in space aboard the Polaris to study the polar auroras. Struck by a meteorite, they crash at the foot of a pre-Columbian pyramid and meet Lucia, a hummingbird with a passion for rocks. She tells them a legend evoking "stones of light". Meteorites, shooting stars, these "stones of light" are very intriguing. In order to solve this enigma, they embark for the Moon, then the asteroid belt, and finally land on a comet nucleus. Who has fun throwing stones from space? Hypotheses, observations and analyzes will allow them to find answers to their questions back on Earth!
Dawn of the Space Age 360° movie
Duration 30 minutes, FR-EN-DE, from 6 years
Relive the excitement of the early days of space exploration, from the launch of the first artificial satellite to the magnificent lunar landings and private spaceflights.
Let yourself be overwhelmed by this historical reconstruction of the first steps of man in space. Who were these men and women who took part in these death-defying efforts?
Witness their drive, passion, and perseverance to explore, in Dawn of the Space Age.
