Anniviers Liberté passes for second home owners can be generated directly via the Anniviers Liberté R2 portal.

In accordance with applicable public transport regulations, the Anniviers Liberté guest card is now issued on a nominative basis.
To enable the creation and management of passes, a freely accessible online portal has been set up. It allows users to generate passes for themselves as well as for guests.

Access to the portal is provided using the credentials shown on the tourist tax invoice.
Alternatively, you may visit a tourism office in the Val d’Anniviers with these credentials to receive assistance in creating or updating your passes.

How can I obtain my Anniviers Liberté passes?

You can generate your own Anniviers Liberté passes using the login details provided on your annual flat-rate tourist tax invoice. These details are required for any process relating to your passes.

Why are the passes issued in each person's name?

To comply with current public transport regulations, which require digital travel passes to be issued in the passenger's name, you must now provide the first name, last name and date of birth of each person using a pass. This information must match the person's ID document in the event of an inspection.

Why can I no longer get plastic cards like before?

The passes are now digital. You can simply show the QR code you received by email to use your pass. If you prefer a physical copy, you can print it out.

Why can the Tourist Office no longer send us our passes as it did before?

For data protection reasons, the Municipality can no longer share your contact details with the Tourist Office. You must therefore generate your own passes via the Anniviers Liberté R2 Portal. To log in to the portal, you will need the login details provided on your annual flat-rate tourist tax invoice, which you should have received by post at the beginning of the year.
The Tourist Office will be happy to assist you if needed. Please make sure you have your login details ready before contacting them.

Where can I find my username and password to log in to the Anniviers Liberté Portal?

You will find your username and password on your annual flat-rate tourist tax invoice, which is sent by post by the Municipality of Anniviers at the beginning of the year.

What should I do if I cannot find my annual flat-rate tourist tax invoice or no longer have it?

You can contact the Finance Department of the Municipality of Anniviers by email at [email protected]. They will send you a copy of your invoice, which contains your login details.

Can I share my login details with other people?

You can share your username and password with trusted people, such as family members or friends staying at your property, so that they can generate their own passes.

What should I do if I do not know my guests' dates of birth?

If you are in contact with your guests, you can ask them for their dates of birth. Alternatively, you can leave the instructions, together with your username and password, at your property so that your guests can generate their own passes.

What should I do if one of my guests generates their own passes and sets an expiry date later than the end of their stay?

You can log in to your portal and delete the passes in question. Once deleted, they will no longer be valid, and an error message will appear when the QR codes are scanned.

Can I use the same name for everyone? Can I put my name on my guests' passes?

The names shown on the passes must match the names of the people using them. In the event of an inspection, the name on the pass must match the name on the passenger's ID document.

What happens if I click on "Delete passes"?

The pass in question will become invalid. You can then generate new passes in the names of other people.

Will I be entitled to fewer passes if I click on "Delete passes"?

No. You will still be entitled to the same number of passes, which depends on the annual flat-rate tourist tax you pay. The “Delete passes” button simply allows you to generate new Anniviers Liberté passes in other people's names.

What is the "Delegate my passes" button for?

If a rental agency manages your property, you can click on "Delegate my passes" to allow the agency to generate passes for your guests. You should only delegate your passes after agreeing to this arrangement with the agency in advance.

Can I prepare passes in advance for all the guests staying at my property?

To generate new passes, you must wait until your previous guests' stay has ended. If you delete the existing passes before then, they will no longer be valid.

If I print out my pass, will it remain valid for the entire season?

Not necessarily. If other guests stay at your property in the meantime and delete your pass to generate passes in their own names, the QR code on your printed pass will no longer be valid. You will need to log in to the Anniviers Liberté R2 Portal again using your login details and generate a new pass in your own name.

Why has the system changed?

The Anniviers Liberté R2 Portal was introduced to make it easier to manage passes issued in individual names and to ensure compliance with current public transport regulations.

Are the benefits the same as in previous years?

My chalet has four beds, but I only receive two passes. Can I get two additional passes?

The number of Anniviers Liberté passes you are entitled to depends on the amount of the annual flat-rate tourist tax you pay to the Municipality of Anniviers.
