From the Navizence river to the Lac Noir mountain lake via the Moiry Dam, fishing enthusiasts are simply spoilt for choice. The crystal-clear waters of the rivers criss-crossing the valley, fed by the surrounding glaciers, are home to a wide variety of fish, making fishing in the Val d’Anniviers an unforgettable experience for all those who enjoy this sport.
Fishing is permitted in the following rivers and lakes:
- La Navisence (from 1st Sunday in March to 1st Sunday in October) : Fishing is only permitted upstream of the Vissoie compensation basin.
- La Gougra
- Torrent des Moulins (from St-Luc to Vissoie)
- The Moiry dam
- Illsee dam
- Lac Noir (see conditions below) Please note: Tuesdays and Fridays are closed days for all rivers.
Fishing is prohibited in the following rivers and lakes:
- La Navisence (from the Vissoie compensation basin to its confluence with the Rhône): Due to a major landslide posing a risk to public safety, access to the banks of the Navisence is prohibited from the Vissoie compensation basin to its confluence with the Rhône. Consequently, fishing in this section is prohibited until further notice. No fish stocking will be carried out in this area.
- From the mouth of the torrent de Pinsec to the Vissoie storage dam, including the torrent de Pinsec (reserve)
- Lake Armina
- Lac de Lona
- Lac des Autannes
