This hike along the edge of the ski area is marked by the various planets of the solar system. On the way there, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of the valley floor. A highlight not to be missed: the arrival at the Hotel Weisshorn, still considered today one of the gems of the Anniviers Valley. Enjoy a refreshing drink on the panoramic terrace of this historic hotel. After a well-deserved break, you’ll retrace your steps, taking in a different view all the way back to the funicular station.
OUR ADVICE
At the Weisshorn Hotel, be sure to stop by for a slice of blueberry pie while taking in the breathtaking view.
Don’t miss Planet Park, located right next to the Tignousa restaurant. A unique playground awaits you, featuring a space shuttle, slides, a zip line, swings, and a high ropes course. It’s a little paradise for kids, all with a planetary theme.

| Useful information | From the village of St-Luc, take the funicular to Tignousa, where the ski slopes begin. From Tignousa, head toward the Weisshorn Hotel by following the flat, groomed trail. Start by walking to the François-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory, located 100 meters to the right of the funicular’s arrival point. Then take the Chemin des Planètes, which leads to the Weisshorn Hotel. Allow 1 hour and 40 minutes for the walk there, and the same for the return trip. |
