Pass by the Bella-Tola Cabin (see route no. 19). Then cross the Tignousa ski lift and that of the Col des Ombrintzes. After winding through the pastures and ascending in a zigzag on the mountain slope, you reach the refuge and the summit ridge; then you lift your gaze from the path and see the void on both sides. The hike continues along the ridge path to the left towards the Griolet Lighthouse, located at the summit of the Rothorn, from where the panorama shows all the visible peaks at 360°. Then retrace your steps to reach the "real" peak of Bella-Tola; the view extends to more than thirty peaks over 4000 m. |
