This historic trail begins below the church, next to the Grand Chalet Favre. The elevation gain is significant. You’ll need to cross three paved roads—
: Fond-Villa, Prilett, and St-Luc/Ayer—then continue down the steep slope to finally reach the village of Vissoie.

You can also reach Vissoie from Les Moulins de St-Luc via the shaded path that winds through the forest alongside the Moulins torrent (duration: 1 hour).
2.
A loop hike starting with the descent along the Chemin Historique de Vissoie and then climbing back up via the shaded path that runs alongside the Moulins stream (duration: 2 hours 30 minutes).
