A "transition" stage in this tour of the huts, allowing passage from the Moiry valley to the Zinal valley through beautiful mid-mountain scenery.

| Useful information | From the Moiry Hut, begin the descent along the same path as the ascent. At the junction with the 2500 path, take the right onto the Fêta d’Août de Chateaupré. The path continues along the mountainside on the right bank of the Moiry Lake. At the dam height, it joins the trail ascending toward the Corne de Sorebois. Once at the pass, begin the descent toward the Weisshorn area. From there, it is possible to take the ski lifts to reach Zinal. From the village of Zinal, follow the Navisence river on either bank. Once at the end of the Plats de la Lée, take the small forest road going up to the right, with a beautiful view of the waterfalls. Continue up to the Petit Mountet Hut, which overlooks the Zinal glacier. |
