The trail, which starts near the parking lot by the Mottec Power Plant, winds through a peaceful area where it’s common to spot chamois. Hikers are alone with nature. Upon exiting the forest, the panoramic view is simply breathtaking. With an elevation gain of 940 m, the climb is fairly steep (crampons recommended) and includes only a few short sections where you can catch your breath. Once out of the forest, this route runs near the Sorebois ski area and ends at the “Avalanche Training Center,” where you’ll have a great opportunity to test your knowledge and your equipment. |
