This hike, with nearly 1,000 meters of elevation gain, is the best way to reach the Grimentz-Zinal ski area from the village of Zinal. This beautiful ascent, offering magnificent views of the stunning 4,000-meter peaks of the Couronne Impériale, will take you to the La Marmotte snack bar. Part of the route runs close to the ski area. Please be careful!

| Useful information | From Zinal, take the road that goes down next to the Hotel Europe. Head toward Mottec, then turn off toward Sorebois. In Sorebois, follow the trail markers to the left for 300 meters until you reach the Combe ski lift. The trail is then marked and groomed all the way to the Marmotte snack bar, on the Sorebois ski slopes. |
