A fairly challenging climb will take you through Swiss stone pines and larch trees to Tignousa. From there, you can admire the five peaks over 4,000 meters that make up the Imperial Crown.
OUR ADVICE
This hike can be done in either direction. Therefore, the starting and ending points must be reversed.

From Place de la Marmotte, behind the Maison Bourgeoisiale, turn left toward Chandolin. The first part of the route is the same as the trail to Chandolin. After a 15-minute walk, the route branches off from the Chemin de la Fortuna. Follow the Chemin de Prosper toward Chandolin, then take the forest road toward Tignousa. From Tignousa, return to the village via the funicular. |
