The Chemin des Coqs takes its name from the capercaillie—or great capercaillie—which roams discreetly on these inhospitable slopes

From the Tourist Office, take the Chemin de la Raye (passing in front of the small Museum of Wildlife, open 7 days a week). The trail then crosses through the old village, passes in front of the church, runs alongside the Calvaire playground, and climbs just below the Grand Hôtel de Chandolin. From there, the Chemin des Coqs begins—a charming little path that winds through the Invers Forest. |
