After heavy rain, it can be difficult or impossible to cross the couloirs and rivers. Check beforehand at the Zinal Tourist Office.

| Useful information | Take the direction of Les Erables (communal swimming pool) and follow the little road that goes uphill to the left until you reach the start of the path, which runs steeply uphill through woodland to the Lirec alpine pasture (1h). Continue on the path on the right, which runs alongside the forest of Arolla pines (arolles), above the alpine pastures, and joins the Chemin de Tracuit. Cross the alpine pasture, with its view over the Roc de la Vache waterfall, and continue to Zinal. |
