| Useful information | Follow the cantonal road towards Ayer/Zinal, then quite quickly take the lane going left that leads uphill through the village, up to the Moulins torrent. Cross the torrent and join the small dirt path on the left. Cross the Rotzec road and continue on the same small path. Once at the little mayens of the Tenda, pass over the small wooden bridge of the old irrigation channel and continue until the paved St-Luc/Ayer road. Follow the road for about a hundred meters, then take the forest road to the left. Continue following the signs for Gillou/Hotel Weisshorn. Once at the top of the Gillou d'en Haut clearing, go down about 100 m to the left to see the geographical center of Valais (balance point), where the flag flies on the larch pole. Then another hour of ascent to finally reach the legendary Hotel Weisshorn. |
