Stage 5 - Grand Mountet Cabin --> Arpitettaz Cabin

The "favorite" stage, which passes near the Arpitettaz Lake and leads to the foot of the Weisshorn, with an exceptional view of the glaciers and peaks.

Located at the foot of the Weisshorn, the Arpitettaz Cabin is the ideal place for wildlife observation.

Useful information	Starting point: Zinal, Grand Mountet cabin End point: Zinal, Arpitettaz cabin The descent from the Grand Mountet cabin follows the same path as the ascent. Once you reach the bridge crossing the Navizence, immediately turn right. A little further on, the path crosses the Torrent de l’Arpitettaz. It then begins a zigzag ascent. A welcome break slightly higher up, at the edge of the Arpitettaz Lake, before the final straight stretch leading to the Cabin.
