From the Tourist Office, take the paved road that crosses the village square. At the intersection, turn right toward the Grand Hôtel. Then follow the road as it climbs toward the Chandolin alp, until you reach the mountain restaurant Le Tsapé (highest point). Then begin the descent toward Tignousa. After a 5-km gentle descent, reach the Bella-Tola hut by following a path on your left, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn! Then turn back and continue the descent toward Tignousa. Just before reaching the restaurant, take the small path on your right (hairpin turn). Pass under the chairlift and follow this downhill forest road until you reach the paved road at the chairlift’s base. Then continue along this road to the village.

From the restaurant Le Tsapé, you can hike to the very pretty little Lac Noir (2 km round trip)
You can buy cheese directly on site at the Chandolin Alpine Pasture “Plan Losier.”
You can reach the Le Tsapé restaurant directly by chairlift
