Useful information

There are two options for starting the hike.

- You can start from Place de la Marmotte, then take the fairly steep path that climbs behind the Maison Bourgeoisiale. Next, turn left onto the dirt road, then take the small path that climbs steeply toward the Pierre des Sauvages.
- To avoid the steep climb at the start, you can start from the bus stop at the Forêt parking lot, then continue along the Chemin de la Fortuna to the first chalets above the village; after the second chalet on your left, turn left onto the path that climbs, then right onto the path leading to the Pierre des Sauvages.
Continue along the trail to the intersection, then follow the Chemin du Bisse to the right. You’ll find yourself above the village, nestled between forest and pastures, with clear water and colorful flora, stands of larch trees and wild strawberries—everything to delight families! You can head back down toward the village of St-Luc at various points along the way if you get tired.
