Zinal - Cabane du Petit Mountet No. 5

Walk along the Navisence on either bank. Once at the bottom of the Plats de la Lée, take the small forest road that climbs up to the right, with a beautiful view of the waterfalls. Continue to the Cabane du Petit Mountet, which overlooks the Zinal glacier.

After the first climb of about 15 minutes, take the path that goes off to the right, before the old Vichiesso cellar. This path reaches the cabin by going through the forest. A pleasant option, both uphill and downhill, which allows you to make a loop (45 min - medium to difficult, due to some slippery sections, especially with chains).
2.
Take the path leading to the Lée alpine pasture from the Cabane du Petit Mountet (45 min – easy). Enjoy the panoramic view and
descend by the fairly steep path that joins the path to Zinal near the old Vichiesso cellar (1h10 – medium).
