This pleasant hike of about 2 hours for 5.6 km presents no difficulties. It will take you from the village of Grimentz to Mottec (or vice versa) through the Morasses forest. The first part is on the road, so be cautious. After these first 10 minutes, you will calmly wind through the forest.
OUR ADVICE
This hike can be done in both directions. The starting and ending points can therefore be reversed.

| Useful information | From the bus stop opposite the Les Mélèzes restaurant in Grimentz, follow the cantonal road towards Zinal. Once on the bridge, continue on the road for about 100m, then take the path to the right into the forest. The trail continues straight to Mottec. From Mottec, you can extend the route by continuing to walk to Zinal or take a bus that brings you back to either Zinal or Grimentz. Possibility to return to Grimentz 'by air' by cable car. |
