Chandolin - Illhorn Hut No. 13

Take the trail that climbs toward the Illhorn Hut. Cross the alpine road and continue close to the ski lift of the same name. Once at the hut, you’ll find yourself near the upper edge of the forest in a vast and varied landscape.

At the intersection, follow the alpine road to enjoy a gentler slope and extend the hike a bit (30 minutes—easy).

Take the trail that climbs toward the Illhorn Hut. At the ski lift garages, turn left onto the trail that overlooks the village and leads to the Grand Hôtel (Sentier des Dames), then follow the alpine forest road to the intersection with the Ill
ail trail. Continue along the standard trail or the alpine road (45 minutes).
