
A unique experience to discover the Alpine landscapes in a different light and understand the impacts of global warming from an experienced climatologist – right there in the field.
Observations:
- Moraines and glacial landscapes (interpreting the landscape and the traces left by ancient glaciers)
- Mountain flora (pioneer plants and adaptation to climate change)
- Geology (the geological history of the Alps)
- Climate (understanding global warming and its impacts in the mountains)
The walk is suitable for anyone in reasonably good physical condition. Elevation gain: 150 to 300 m.
What to bring: good walking shoes, suitable clothing, water, sun protection
Postponed to the following day in case of bad weather; decision made the evening before by 6 pm.
