From Photon to Image: How a Deep-Sky Photograph is Born
In this lecture, I propose to follow the journey of a photon from a distant nebula to the final image revealed on our screens. We will see how telescopes collect this light, sometimes traveling thousands of light-years, how it is captured by astronomical cameras, and then transformed, step by step, into an image. The goal is to explain astrophotography techniques in a simple way while sharing the wonder and patience required to chase photons from the cosmos. An invitation to discover how science, technology, and artistic sensibility come together to reveal the beauty of the Universe.
