The mountains have become an increasingly accessible playground — but that brings new challenges for rescue teams. Unstable ground, unpredictable weather, and ill-prepared adventurers all test the limits of those who work 24/7 to keep you safe in Anniviers. Their dedication is more vital than ever.
Emmanuel Zufferey, Operational Head of the Regional Rescue Service, has roamed the Val d’Anniviers for many years. A ski patroller, mountain guide, and instructor — but also a storyteller, and a breeder of chickens and rabbits — he’ll share his experience as one of the valley’s guardian angels.

A friendly drink will be offered by AnniviersR2, the association of second-home owners in Anniviers.
