Village guided tour of Grimentz

Discover the old village of Grimentz with a local resident.

Known as one of the most beautiful villages of Switzerland, Grimentz has been attracting tourists for a very long time; its Tourist Board was established back in 1930. The old village, with its ancient houses and granaries huddled around the church, will welcome you warmly and show you all it has to offer.

The Caves Blanches (White Cellars) and the Maison de Grand-maman (Grandma’s House) are two examples of the rich architectural heritage of the village. Have you heard of the Vin du Glacier (Glacier Wine)?

Paulon and Marie-Paule were born in Grimentz and with their family, they have seen how Grimentz changed from the past to present with beds for about 6000 tourists. They will tell you how the local people used to live and the traditions they faithfully keep alive.
