Immerse yourself in high mountain décor and experience the majesty of the Imperial Crown mountain peaks rising to over 4,000m. The Restaurant de Sorebois is the ideal place to enjoy lunch on the terrace, gazing at the snow-capped peaks in winter or the green pastures in summer.

Restaurant de Sorebois is perfectly located at the start of the ski slopes at the midway station of the Zinal gondola lift, not far from the Swiss Ski School’s snow garden. With the comfort of everyone in mind, new spaces have recently been designed and created to ensure you have a wonderful time with friends and family over a delicious meal.

New areas are being created to cater for all tastes, designed and created to help you enjoy moments of sharing, good food and conviviality.

- Le Montagnard: Table service
A new way to enjoy the mountain, with friends or family. The menu showcases local specialities and traditional culinary delights.
Le Montagnard is open from 12pm to 2.30pm and offers two sittings: the first at 12pm and the second at 1.30pm. Booking is recommended during peak times. Accessible via the main entrance, it can accommodate 80 people inside and on the terrace.

- Le Buffet: self-service. A family-friendly place to meet up and enjoy traditional dishes of the day, children’s menus and more for all budgets.
The self-service restaurant is open from 11.15am to 2.30pm and can accommodate up to 160 people. Accessible directly from the entrance located at basement level behind the building.

- Le Snack: self-service
The ideal spot to grab a quick bite to eat before returning to the slopes! Le Snack is open from 9am to 4pm and can accommodate 90 people. Accessible via the main entrance, it is located on the same level as Le Montagnard.

Menu for groups and events: menus available for banquets, weddings, birthdays and group or corporate outings.


Summer season 2024

During the summer season, only the Buffet : Self-service will be open.
In order to continue to provide you with the best possible service, the Montagnard: Table service and the Snack: Self-service will remain closed to allow the refurbishment work begun last summer to continue.
We're looking forward to introducing our customers to this new world next winter, when the Montagnard and Snack Bar reopen their doors, enhanced by these improvements.
